10 Foods That You Should Avoid
Keeping a healthy lifestyle can be tricky in the beginning. But once you get used to it, it will surely become your way of life. If you are starting to diet or to have healthier options in life, here are 10 foods that you need to stay away from.
1. Nuts- consists of everything carbs and fats. If you’re a nut person make sure to switch nuts to raw nuts in your new diet.
2. Chips- yes, these are really good especially when you’re with friends of you’re sad and alone but this is a big No-No at the beginning of your diet. You can eventually eat low calorie chips instead.
3. Mashed Potatoes- though this is a big part in all celebrations and a certified comfort food, mashed potatoes can be bad for you particularly if you have lactose intolerance.
4. Ice cream- another comfort food that will definitely skyrocket your body fat and carbs. You can replace ice creams with yogurts. Or if you can control yourself you can have one scoop of ice cream in a week.
5. Anything fried- everyone knows that fried foods are rich in cholesterol so you can either minimize eating fried foods like chicken or start appreciating foods that are baked.
6. Chocolate- everything should always be in moderation especially with chocolates. Too much chocolate can not only make you too hyper but the acid in your stomach will attack your body mercilessly.
7. Soft drinks (colas) - yes, drinking one, especially iced cold, can totally quench your thirst but it can also increase your blood sugar which is definitely bad for your health. Just stick with water or any kind of tea.
8. Ketchup- great for fries and fried food but it’s a calorie booby trap that will explode any time soon. You can replace ketchup with mustard.
9. Burgers- you may want to avoid humungous burgers especially if you’re just starting with your diet. The patty alone can make your heart stop.
10. Canned soup- soups straight from cans can make your body suffer in the long run. If you really want to have some soup, you can start making one from scratch.
